Ha avuto il suo apice intorno all' anno 2000 - 2001 e ha iniziato il suo declino nel 2005, da quando ha continuato a calare in popolarità. All' estero invece ha sempre avuto un certo successo, soprattutto in germania e altri paesi nordeuropei. le canzoni del mix vanno dal 2002 al 2006. English: ItaloDance Megamix made by me. This style was the mainstream dance music in italy until 2007. In italy was called simply "commercial dance" or "commerciale". at that time this music was the most popular in italy, second only to pop and rock. the peak was in 2001 and 2002 when the first songs in italian language were made,(as most of the songs were in english language).roots of this genre can be found in the mid90s, in the eurodance style. today in italy, this genre, its almost dead, and the mainstream dance style now is electro-house, along with electroclash, and minimal. this mix is a nostalgic thing to italodance fans, as now only few people are producing this genere. outside italy, this style evolved in handz-up, but that in italy its not followed much. all the songs in this mix are made in italy between spring2002 and autumn2006(apart one in the sixth parth, made in germany, but the style is still italodance).
